Joan M. Perron, 85, died peacefully at home from cancer on July 19, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born January 5, 1933 to Stanley and Georgina Eisner of Chester Basin, Nova Scotia. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Richard E. Perron of Northborough, Ma; her beloved children, predeceased infant son Richard Perron; daughter Dorothy Henry her husband Michael; predeceased daughter Barbara McAndless; daughter Donna Renaud her husband Roy; son David Perron his wife Stephanie all of Northborough; She also leaves a beloved sister Heather of Nova Scotia; predeceased sisters Marion; Josephine; Minnie; and Beulah; predeceased brothers Norman and Arthur all of Nova Scotia. Joan was extremely close to her grandchildren PJ, Mike, Nikki, Beth, Sammy, Matt, Shannon, Jesse, Nicole, Justin, Christie and Tim. We were all blessed to be part of her life.
Joan retired as a commercial photographer after 30 years from Bay State Circuits of Millbury, Ma. Joan was such a loving, caring and giving person who built her life around her family. She loved feeding the birds, chipmunks and especially the squirrels who would take to knocking on her door if she hadn’t thrown out the peanuts. She loved flowers and gardening particularly roses. And she loved her cats Socks and Boots who were her constant companions.
A private graveside service was held, at Joan's request. There are no private services. In memory of our beloved mother and grandmother donations may be made in her memory to the MSPCA-Angell of Boston, MA and the VNA Care Network & Hospice, 120 Thomas St. Worcester, MA 01608.
